Partner description
Hydrogenics GmbH, located in Gladbeck, North Rhine Westphalia, Germany, is a designer, developer and manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyser hydrogen generators for transportation, stationary, industrial, commercial, and renewable energy markets. The product lines include PEM fuel cells and systems, ranging from 2.5 kW to MW scale, and Alkaline and PEM electrolysers ranging from 1 Nm3/h to 1000’s of Nm3/h of hydrogen outputs (5 kW to 100’s Megawatts of input power).

Hydrogenics GmbH is owned, along with its sister company Hydrogenics N.V. in Belgium, by the publicly-traded company Hydrogenics Corporation (NASDAQ:HYGS; TSX:HYG), headquartered in Mississauga (Toronto), Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1995 under the name of ENKAT (Energy Management and Catalysis) GmbH, Hydrogenics GmbH has been part of the Hydrogenics group since 2002.

Hydrogenics GmbH develops PEM technologies for markets in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and selected Asian markets. The German subsidiary also assists its Belgian sister with sales and service for Alkaline electrolyser products in energy storage and transportation sectors, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

While the PEM fuel cell module subsystems and PEM electrolyser stacks are developed and built in Mississauga, Hydrogenics GmbH’s engineering activities focus on system development from subsystems to complete turnkey systems.

HYOP AS is an independent company dedicated to bring hydrogen fuel to the transport segment. HYOPs mission is to own and operate hydrogen refuelling stations and hydrogen production facilities.

IIT is a non-profit R&D institution with public and private shareholders. The main aim is the development and implementation of the hydrogen technology in South Tyrol. The IIT acts as a centre of excellence in planning, implementing and operating hydrogen projects, infrastructure and applications on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Bozen-South Tyrol.

Ingenieurteam Bergmeister (shortly ITB) is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing design, project management and construction management services for projects aiming since 1990 at the realization of transportation and energy infrastructures, commercial and industrial buildings, repair and maintenance programmes, housing developments. The workforce includes 62 employees. ITB implements an integrated quality management system, certified according to ISO 9001:2008 und OHSAS 18001:2007. Its organisational model, based on a Code of Ethics and designed according to Italian regulations in force (D. Lgs. 231/2001) relating to administrative and control systems.

ITM Power

Partner description
ITM Power manufactures integrated hydrogen energy solutions which are rapid response and high pressure that meet the requirements for grid balancing and energy storage services, and for the production of clean fuel for transport, renewable heat and chemicals. ITM Power plc was admitted to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in 2004. The company received £4.9m as a strategic investment from JCB in March 2015. In September 2015,the company signed a strategic forecourt siting agreement with Shell to integrate its on-site hydrogen production and dispensing into 3 retail forecourts in London.

LBSL is a subsidiary of Transport for London (TfL), responsible for regulating the London bus network (7,764 buses over 700+ London bus routes), including planning bus routes, setting bus service levels and monitoring service quality. LBSL is also responsible for managing 19,500 bus stations and stops whilst also engaging with other services that support the overall bus services on the road. The bus services are generally operated by private operators, which work under contract to LBSL.
